The Hanebergs Antiques specializes in American furniture, clocks, Chinese export porcelain, marine paintings and 18th century accessories of the best form and condition.
Our interest in antiques comes from Bob's grandfather who was in the antiques business. His love of great American furniture has been passed on to this generation. Bob started in the antiques business by working for an auctioneer. He was able to rapidly build on his knowledge by handling more top quality antiques that he ever would have handled in any other part of the Antiques trade. That experience has honed his eye for truly superior antiques.
There are several ways to locate us. Primarily, we are show dealers exhibiting in over a dozen major shows annually. Please see our show schedule for shows that we may be doing in your area. If you are traveling to Maine, please take time to visit MacDougall-Gionet Antiques in Wells, Maine where our merchandise is also available for sale. If you are traveling to Connecticut, we live in East Lyme in an 18th century home (pictured above) which is open by appointment only. A call ahead is always advisable because we travel extensively looking for fine merchandise.
We are members of the Maine Antiques Dealers Association, the New Hampshire Dealers Association, and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.
Please feel free to call or email us with any questions you may have. If you are looking for something special, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our web site is a small offering of what we have available for sale.
