Classical Center Table.
This superb center table features the finest of Boston design. The circular veneered top rests above a veneered apron adorned with gilt lead trim over a turned and carved pedestal on four acanthus carved legs with foliate brass toe caps and casters. This fine table is related to labelled examples by Timothy Hunt due to the similarity in its exceptional carving and design. As well, other fine Boston shops offered examples with similar foliate carving and design elements.
