A Rare "plum pudding" mahogany three drawer work table retaining its original surface and brass ball feet, offered together with a companion mahogany Pembroke table. Both tables, circa 1805-1815, are associated with the group of late neoclassical furniture attributed to Charleston, South Carolina cabinetmaker James Main, working 1813-1822.
