A very fine & unusual pair of French patinated bronzes of an oriental couple. On bases decorated with elephant heads, the man with shallow hat over his arm and holding a crocodile, his canpanion with elaborate head-dress and holding a small dog in the crook of her arm. Signed by Lalouette the subjects are probably French colonial South-East Asian. Circa 1880. 13 inches.
