Egyptian revival brooch with antique faience scarab by Marcus & Co., New York, circa 1900. The Brooch is set in 14 karat gold with translucent enamel. The ancient scarab, which dates from the Hyxos period, 1100 BC-1500 BC, is engraved on the reverse with abstract, iconographic figures. 2-5/8" wide x 1" high.
