An exceptional pair of portraits of "Henry Ehle" and Anna Bellinger, Chittenango, NY. A vigorous pair of primitive portraits in original untouched condition in their original black painted frames. Oil on canvas, circa 1838. Mr. Ehle holds a copy of The Chittenango Herald dated October 31, 1838. To the left of the sitter is a figure struggling with a lion, on the right the Chittenango Falls.
