Isaac Brokaw, Bridge Town, New Jersey, circa 1800
Fine Hepplewhite Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock inscribed Isaac Brokaw, Bridge Town, having a broken arch top with inlaid pinwheel rosettes, fluted colonettes flanking an enameled dial with moon phase, date counter and an eight day brass movement above a shaped waist door having an oval inlay surrounded by quartered mahogany, a figured mahogany collar with book-end inlays above, a design also repeated in the scroll board, all over a circular inlaid base panel and French bracket feet.
