Fine Queen Anne Figured Walnut Spice Box having a molded cornice above a raised panel tomb-stone door retaining its original shaped 'H' hinges and escutcheon opening to an interior with eleven drawers, all on a molded straight bracket base. Secondary woods: Poplar (bottom and back), white cedar (drawer bottoms and dust-proofing), and oak (drawer sides). Pennsylvania, circa 1740-1760. Height 22-1/2', width 18-1/8', depth 12-1/8'.
