Rare Federal Inlaid Mahogany Swell Front Chest of Drawers having a rectangular top with a band inlaid edge, four graduated drawers with cross-banded edges, original oval brasses proclaiming PEACE with a dove holding a olive branch, all above a line and bellflower inlaid apron continuing to French feet. All original except for side aprons between side feet, 5-1/2' of front apron, and other customary minor repairs. Massachusetts, circa 1790. Width 41-3/4' (40 1/4' @ case), depth 21-1/4', height 36-1/2'.
