Elnathan Taber, Roxbury, Massachusetts Fine Hepplewhite Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock of rare desirable small size inscribed "Warranted by E. (Elnathan) Taber" and having an enameled dial with moon phase, date counter and eight day brass movement all in a "Roxbury" case with original pierced fret, fluted stands with two of its original brass finials, brass stopped fluted colonettes and quarter columns, rectangular waist door and base panel each with fan inlaid quadrants, all above a nicely shaped apron continuing to French bracket feet. Roxbury, Massachusetts, circa 1800. Height: 89 1/4" (7' 5 1/4").
