Rare Chippendale Figured Walnut Bonnet-Top Tall Case Clock inscribed 'John Barnes, Philadelphia', having a broken arch top with enclosed bonnet, a brass dial with moon phase, date counter, and an eight day brass movement, fluted colonettes flanking the dial above a waist with a shaped door flanked by fluted quarter columns, above a base with a shaped panel flanked by fluted quarter columns, all on ogee bracket feet.
Philadelphia, circa 1750.
