An untouched original chest of drawers by famed craftsman George Nakashima (1905-1990), who produced custom hand made furniture in his New Hope, Pennsylvania workshop. Among his impressive client list were the Rockefeller family for whom he made numerous pieces. This rare piece of solid black walnut has exposed dovetailed construction and a free from top edge which dates it mid -1960. An eight drawer double chest of drawers (the drawers retain their original numbering) with six full depth drawers below 2 shallow drawers and in untouched perfect original condition, comes directly from the estate of the original purchaser.
