Superb hepplewhite carved mahogany lolling chair, with shaped crest and serpentine arms with molded hand rests and molded arm supports continuing to molded front leg and raking rear legs with stretcher base. Boston area, circa 1785-95. Provenance: Israel Sack, Inc.; private collection. 44" high, 26 1/4" wide, 25" deep, seat height 17".
