An English Creamware Coffee Pot And Cover With Red Printed Scenes.

One side of the footed coffee pot is decorated with a red transfer print depicting a lord and lady having tea in a garden setting with a small, black child serving them. The other side has a scene of a shepherd tending his flock of sheep in landscape with a cottage in the background. Three small transfer printed garlands encircle the lid. The handle is formed of two intertwining bands ending in moulded foliate and floral terminals. The domed cover terminates in a moulded flower finial. Repaired chip to tip of spout and inner lip of cover.
