This silkwork depicts a white life preserver made of cotton with purple divisions, flanked by six flags, including the Union Jack and flags of France, Italy and the United States. A crown surmounts the life preserver, and two branches with red berries lie beneath. The words 'Gibralter Present' top the picture. All on a ground of purple silk and within a simple gilt frame; excellent condition.
