An unusual Chinese export footed salt decorated in famille rose. The salt has a hexagonal base with ornate gilt spearheads below rouge de fer and gilt flowers and butterflies. The petal-shaped top has a central scene of an exotic bird by rocks and flowering plants within a brown and gilt scroll band on the rim.
