Circa 1870. An Italian Ivory inlaid table almost certainly from Milan. Constructed from Ebony and Ebonised woods and profusely inlaid with scrolling Arabesques. The table top featuring a cartouche of a mythological scene is supported on octagonal legs united by a scrolled stretcher surmounted by an urn shaped finial. The table is an excellent example of the high quality inlaid furniture produced by the master craftsmen of Italy.
