Essex Antiquarians, located just 45 minutes north of Boston, on Massachusetts' Cape Ann, was established in 1996. Since opening, we have added a second floor in the main building bringing our showroom space to 4000 sq. ft., and are now renovating a two-story detached barn for expansion.
Our approach to the antiques business is reflective of our love and appreciation of the quality and sophistication of 18th and 19th century 'living' wares. We strive to provide our customers with a broad choice of useful, unique or just rare and beautiful objects that are representative of the skillful artisans and cultured style of this era gone by.
Our philosophy is that everyone can and should be encouraged to learn about, acquire and enjoy fine antiques. Thus we offer real antiques for everyone - across a full range of prices, categories and countries of origin - including furniture, art, silver, porcelain, rugs, metalware, sculpture, garden and architectural objects.
We have a resident decorator and provide full design, appraisal and restoration services to our customers. Our merchandise is fully guaranteed as described, and we have extensive experience working with independent decorator/designers and antique dealers.
