Hawthorne Fine Art, LLC offers a selective inventory of 19th and early 20th century American paintings chosen for their exceptional quality, beauty and rarity. Our paintings are priced competitively and curated with strong academic scholarship. With an emphasis on connoisseurship and research, Hawthorne Fine Art provides every client with insight into a work's value, illuminating its place within its respective artist's body of work, and more broadly, the artist's place in the market and history of American art. With expertise and integrity, we happily advise in matters of provenance, dating, condition, authenticity and proper framing. Ultimately, we are dedicated to building excellent private and institutional collections, finding beautiful paintings that bring inspiration and delight to our clients. After all, as Eugene Delacroix once wisely stated, "A painting is a bridge between the soul of the artist and that of the spectator."

Hawthorne Fine Art provides advisory services, assisting our private clients and museums to refine their collecting aims and ultimately build masterful collections. In addition to giving advice on the acquisition and sale of artwork, we also provide appraisal services. To inquire about our advisory services, please send us an e-mail.
