Americas International Fine Art & Antique Fair, met with great success once again. According to the Financial Times,
Palm Beach! is establishing itself as a significant destination for collectors, museum curators, and trustees, which reflects the growing seriousness of collecting in and around Palm Beach. This year 34,000 people attended the ten-day show from February 413, and 102 international dealers exhibited, 60 percent of whom came from outside the United States.
It was an excellent fair, said British exhibitor Peter Finer. We had new clients from the Far East and around America. This sentiment was echoed all around the hall. We have been very successful, said Jacques de la Beraudiere, of Cazequ-Beraudiere in Paris. The wealth and taste of the Florida market corresponds to what we offer, which is classical and modern. We have sold works by Bonnard, Leger, and an important still life by Soutine.
