Hand carved walking stick from a single branch, in the form of a friendly snake ( it appears to be smiling), with carving and staining to simulate eyes, mouth, a diamond on its head and snake skin, with a braided leather band, no breaks, splits or missing pieces,sturdy enough for everyday use, a true example of American Folk Art, probably early 20th century, 34-1/2" Long.
