This attractive table has a serpentine shaped and figured mahogany top with outset corners. The flip over top is supported by a rear swing leg and opens to form a playing surface. The top rests above a shaped apron veneered with richly grained mahogany panels at either side of a lighter flame birch central panel. The apron is framed with mahogany cross banding. The mahogany legs have ring turned turret tops above reeded balusters and vase form turned feet. The table has a partially legible chalk inscription on the underside that appears to indicate a cabinetmaker’s or owner’s name and a locale of Nashua, New Hampshire.
