This is a museum quality set of girandoles. This set was exhibited in 1976 at The Museum of Fine Arts Houston. The Gothic Revival Style in America, 1830-1870. They show the Bigelow Chapel at Mt Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge Mass. They maintain their wonderfully cut prisms of which several original are missing but not noticeable as they are in the back. They are all stamped on the reverse Wm F Shaw/270 Wash'n ST/Boston/Patent/ Dec 18 1848. They are on original double stepped marble bases.
