A fine white marble & ormolu Louis XVI mantel clock of excellent balance & proportions. It is in superb condition with untouched original ormolu, lovely casting & chasing, fine gilding. Unusual with the goute d'egypt figures to urn. Signed Mch Michel for Michel Michel Paris, Master in 1781 known to have been working at Rue Tiquetonne 1783-89. Circa 1785. 45 cms tall.
