A very fine quality French Empire clock in the form of Apollo's lyre. The case sitting on four bun feet and with trumpet mount to rectangular base. The horns of the lyre terminating in swan's heads & with bust of Apollo to top.8 day bell striking movement with silk suspension. Design firmly attributed to Andre Galle. Superb dial. Circa 1817.
