A quite outstanding English double fusee mantel clock in the Louis XV style by the eminent maker James McCabe. The fine rococco case standing upon original base is superbly cast, chased & gilded & in mint original condition. Fine engine turned dial & blued steel hands. The double fusee movement with original chains & pendulum holdfast strikes the hours on a bell. Circa 1820. 13.5 inches tall.
