A wonderful 17th century carved Italian cassone in fruitwood. These chests were usually made in pairs as dower chests and decorated with the armorial bearings of the families intermarrying, with the bride's family coat of arms on one chest and the groom's on the other. This cassone has very crisp carving and warm color. Measurements: 26" (h), 69 1/2" (w), 24" (d).

The beautiful late 19th/early 20th century Heriz has wonderful colors and measures 11' 2" by 14' 6".
