Rare Pennsylvania Blanket Chest decorated by the 'Deep Run Decorator' retaining its original salmon paint with yellow moldings and decorated with a sechstern on the lid, tulips on each end and cat's eyes on the front, a lift lid concealing a hinged til, two overlapping drawers below and turned feet. All original. Minor repair at rear of right molding. Bedminster, Bucks Co., Pennsylvania, circa 1830. Width 38-1/2', depth 19-7/8', height 26'.
