The impressive size, refined proportions, superb wood selections along with specific construction details, indicate that the case was produced in the cabinet shop of John & Thomas Seymour. Additionally, this magnificent case bears the original label of the clockmaker Aaron Willard Jr. inside the pendulum door. This handsome clock case with the label of a prominent Boston clockmaker and an extraordinary local dial contribute to the character of this impressive clock.
