Georges Gori was born in Paris at the turn of the century. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and started to exhibit at the salon from 1929, winning a bronze medal in 1931. He specialized in figurative bronze and ivory statuettes and was much sought after by the Art Deco clientele of early 20th century Europe.
