American Gothic Revival Armoire also in the classical and empire styles, New York, circa 1840. Original finish has been cleaned and repairs to veneers. Interior is a figured maple with original maple shelves. Mirror has probably been replaced as it is rebacked. Gothic Furniture of this calibre is difficult to come by. Measurements: 42 inches wide, 26 1/2 inches deep & 87 1/2 inches tall.
