| Set of eight (six shown in main view) English country chairs, spindle back, comprised of five matching side chairs and one nearly identical side chair along with two similar arm chairs, elm with rush seats, from Northwestern England (Lancashire/Cheshire) circa 1800-1860, several with appropriate restoration, excellent rush and nicely patinated old finish. Side chair size; seat height 17", back height 39-1/2", seat width 18", overall width 20", depth 15". Arm chair #1 size; seat height 17", seat depth 16-1/2", back height 45", arm height 26-1/2", outermost arm width 23-1/2", width between arms 18-1/2", overall depth 19". Arm chair #2 size; seat height 16", seat depth 16-1/2", back height 44", arm height 23-1/2", outermost arm width 22-1/2", overall depth 20", width between arms 17".
