Outstanding New England tavern table, maple, probably Massachusetts, circa 1740-70, having an unusually large two-board top with bread-board ends, pegged to the rectangular base which has a finely scalloped apron on all sides above well turned tapered legs with button feet. Old red paint on base. Ht. 27', W. 47', D. 30'.
