American 19th. century crewelwork depicting George Washington as a General. The frame could be original and it has some scratches and normal wear. There is some minor separation of the brown silk at the very top; other than that condition is very good. There are a pair and I would like to sell them as one.29 1/2in. by 16 1/2in including frame.
