19th. century American crewelwork on silk depicting George Washington as a Mason holding a thirteen star flag. The frame looks original but has some scratches. Minor separation of the back ground silk at the top and bottom. H.29 1/2in. by 16 1/2in. Americana at its best. There is also a companion. I would prefer to sell both as one.
