A Cast Iron Plant stand. Troy New York, circa 1850

This lively plant stand retains its original blue-green painted finish. The adjustable arms terminate in graduated supporting pierced disks to hold potted plants. The base design is identical to that of chairs manufactured during the mid-19th century by American Chair Company, Troy New York.
