In pristine condition, this vibrant oil painting was found in an estate. The depiction of a river at sunset, as well as its rendering with thick brushstrokes and a bright palette, is typical of Sandzen’s finest work. In addition to the oil, a Sandzen watercolor of the same subject accompanied the sale to our California client. Both of these newly discovered and previously unmarketed Sandzen pieces made the client quite pleased.
